Am I spreading too thin?
I've been thinking about how ridiculous my work ethic is. I don't even know if I can call it a work ethic I guess I just mean how ridiculous my life prioritisation can be.
I got pretty sick last week and for my spare time at home alone in my apartment I finally decided to start doing something useful. So I sat down and got to work on programming the Lil'OS I've been imagining up for some time straight from C++.
No libraries, no extra bloat nothing. I got so engrossed it felt amazing! In fact that's pretty much all I've been spending a spare moment of my time on now.
But you know what that means? That's right that means all the 3 or 4 other things I felt this exact same way about a week, 2 weeks, a month ago have been forgotten about.
Isn't that ridiculos!?
Especially considering how much effort and love I put into organising myself through stuff like TickTick and all that jazz.
Anyways I have so much I actually need to be doing right now and here I am. Not doing them because I'd rather be learning Bresenham's line algorithm and pencilling out how the heck a computer may deal with all the memory and variables in the stack and heap of a text editor in C++. Memory is a pain!
Anyways. Now it's 00:39 on a (now) Thursday. I have things to do.
Yet here we are :P
